Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Thanks for posting this video. I liked/was challenged by much of it. Do you know anything about the church that created it? (I realize that question may be showing my ignorance of the Jordan family history, but I've got to start somewhere, right?) What I'm wondering is, are they as passionate about proclaiming the message of repentance and faith as they are about providing for real, physical needs? That really is a hopeful question, not a critical one...
Hey Sean,Thanks for the comment, good to hear from you!To be really honest, no, I don't know if the founding churches of the advent conspiracy are as passionate about proclaiming the message of repentance and faith as they are about providing physical needs - I sure pray they are... can you imagine the impact they would/could be having for Christ if they are/did! What I do know is that I thought the message was a great reminder to both believers and non-believers who might visit our site (family and friends) to be reminded that gifts are okay, but put them in their place and make sure your heart does not steer away from the birth of our savior this season. Thanks again for posting... hope to hear more from you! Merry CHRISTmas!Much Love, Theresa
Agreed, that would be a(n even more) powerful combo. It's sad that we neglect either. Plus, "advent conspiracy" just sounds fun....Thanks for letting me drive-by-comment. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!
